The Charleston Baroque Orchestra is a new instrumental ensemble which plays on period instruments. Formed especially for the 2016 Bach Festival by the Bach Society of Charleston, the orchestra is the first of it’s kind in the Charleston area, and includes some of the finest musicians in the US specializing in the music of the Baroque period. The Charleston Baroque Orchestra will be featured in future concerts with the Bach Society of Charleston.
